Visiting Dublin


Located near the Eastern Coast, the capital city of Ireland is the most popular destination for those on holiday in Ireland. The city has a rich history that can be seen in the architecture as well as in the people that call the city of Dublin home. There are hundreds of sights to see and things to do when visiting Dublin whether you are into history or modern attractions you will be able to find something that fits your needs.
When visiting Dublin one should take the time to visit some of the architectural beauties the city has to offer. Consider visiting the Casino at Mario, a summer house built in the 1700’s for the Earl of Cherlemont. Christ Church Cathedral is also a popular destination with tourists. This church is open public tours and should be included on any itinerary.


Dublin is home to many cultural centers and museums. If you child will be coming along on the holiday consider a trip to the Ark Children’s Cultural Center, just be sure to plan ahead because this attraction is always packed with children of all ages. For the literary fan the James Joyce Center and Marsh’s Library are worth visiting and for the history buff a trip the National Archives is a must.
